Performers wanted for "The Thanksgiving Play" theater production. Please find the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: Stipend for all roles is $800 and will be paid after show closes on Nov. 22nd. Additional info: Performances: November 20–22, Bethesda, MD Rehearsals begin August 26 (Wednesdays & Saturdays) Please prepare a contemporary monologue, 3 minutes or less. Yoga practitioner/actor. Politically correct to a fault, a big one. He’s that confident guy everyone loves, but his logical PC thinking takes weird turns.
Brunette, Caucasian looking but has looks that would have been cast as ethnic in 1950s movies. Without guile. Sexy and hot, but not bright.
The academic. Awkward elementary school history teacher with dramatic aspirations but no experience.
Earnest and energetic. Leads audience in classroom pageant songs that are intended to be PC but are actually not.
