Seeking Female Performer for "Mixed(er)" Play

About the play: "Mixed(er)" is a comedic play that follows a biracial woman who returns home to Kitchener-Waterloo for a “surprise” birthday party thrown by her parents. What starts as a simple weekend quickly spirals into chaos—family tensions bubble up, cultural clashes surface, and a jerk chicken casserole becomes the tipping point. The story navigates bedroom confessions, group texts, accidental reunions, and even a Mennonite bakery heist, all while exploring belonging, identity, and heritage. Rate: Scale: DOT Tier 1. Non-union are also encouraged to submit. Pay: $2000 total. Additional information: Rehearsal period: September 17-19 & 24-26. Tech/Dress: September 28 – October 1st. Performances: October 1-3.
