About the project: A walking play is an outdoor play where audiences walk to different locations along a set route to watch each scene. Artists in this show should thrive in an environment that encourages interaction and connection, within the cast and with our audiences. Rate: $300 Stipend. Includes all rehearsals and shows. Shows canceled for weather/by the arboretum are still paid. All cast members have 2 paid sick days available. Additional info: All roles will be understudied. Rehearsals are on Saturdays and Sundays beginning August 8th. Directors do their best to accommodate agreed-upon rehearsal conflicts. Shows are Saturdays and Sundays at 4 PM, from September 19th - October 25th. If interested, please submit a monologue of choice, appropriate to the piece; heightened language is preferred.

An astute, sensible, but ultimately unreliable narrator. Raised alongside Cathy, Heathcliff, and Hindley, Nelly serves both the Earnshaw and Linton families throughout her life. Intelligent and opinionated, she plays a larger role in the events of the story than she tends to admit.
The spirited, headstrong, and mercurial daughter of a wealthy landowner. Cathy forms an intense bond with Heathcliff in childhood. As an adult, she is torn between her passion for him and her desire for social status and security. *ROLE IS CAST. Seeking understudy.
(BIPOC): An orphan brought to Wuthering Heights as a young child. Fiercely loyal and deeply passionate, Heathcliff's all-consuming love for Cathy shapes the course of his life. He transforms from an abused outsider into a wealthy landowner driven by grief, resentment, and revenge.
Cathy's older brother. Resentful of Heathcliff from the moment of his arrival, Hindley grows increasingly cruel and abusive after inheriting Wuthering Heights. *ROLE IS CAST. Seeking understudy.
A refined, wealthy gentleman from Thrushcross Grange. Kind, gentle, and deeply devoted to his family.
