Looking for Equity actors for principal roles & understudies in 2027 season show "Million Dollar Quartet". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Further details are provided below. About the project: SYNOPSIS: On December 4, 1956, four young musicians got together at Sun Records in Memphis for what would become one of the greatest jam sessions of all time. Put on your blue suede shoes and join Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins for the recording session of a lifetime. Loaded with classic rock ‘n roll hits such as “Great Balls of Fire,” “Sixteen Tons,” “I Walk the Line,” “Hound Dog” and many more. Rate: LORT Non-Rep $1213 weekly minimum (LORT B) $889 weekly minimum (LORT D) Additional info: PREPARATION: Please prepare 2 contrasting one-minute monologues or 1 minute monologue and 1 minute song. Please bring your headshot and resume stapled together. If you are unable to attend the in-person auditions, video submissions will be accepted. An Equity Monitor will not be provided. (Male-Identifying) The American pioneer of rockabilly music and best known for his song “Blue Suede Shoes.” Must be an excellent lead guitarist.

(Male-Identifying) Johnny Cash at the dawn of his epic career. Must be familiar with his music and able to play guitar.

(Male-Identifying) “Father of Rock ‘n’ Roll” and founder of Sun Records who discovered Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and many others including Roy Orbison and B.B. King; a towering and charismatic figure in American music.
