"You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown" Show Needs Performers

About the project: With charm, wit, and heart, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown explores life through the eyes of Charlie Brown and his friends in the Peanuts gang. This revue of songs and vignettes, based on the beloved Charles Schulz comic strip, is the ideal first show for those who would like to do a musical. Musical numbers include “My Blanket and Me,” “The Kite,” “The Baseball Game,” “Little Known Facts,” “Suppertime,” and “Happiness.” Additional info: Prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre song. The track will be played by a technician using a provided sound system. You may be asked to demonstrate your vocal range. Sides will be provided for cold readings. Wear comfortable shoes, as you may be asked to learn and perform a brief dance routine. Please note: If needed, virtual callbacks will be held or a video requested. Rehearsals will begin in late June. Normally, rehearsals run Sunday through Thursday in the evening. Tech week starts in the afternoon on Sunday, August 16, and continues the following week in the evenings until opening night. The show will run August 21 – September 6. Performances are on Friday and Saturday at 8:00 PM, Sunday at 2:30 PM. There is a Thursday performance on September 3 at 7:30 PM. An additional co-producer performance may be added.
