Theater Audition for "Yellowpoint Christmas Spectacular" Play

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ADMITTED. Seeking dancers and singers for production of "Yellowpoint Christmas Spectacular". Please, see the details below. Rate: PAID contract for all performers 2026 CONTRACT from Nov 16-Dec 20, 2026 15 performances Dec 7-20. Contract based in Nanaimo (including rehearsals). Additional information: This year's singing and dancing extravaganza includes musical medleys of well known songs by The Beatles, a selection of musical theatre numbers from Annie and Wicked, songs by Haul & Oates and Bruce Springsteen, a collection of celtic tunes and jazz standards, Bing Crosby's classic 'White Christmas' as well as many more classical hits and Christmas favourites. Venues are physically accessible. Vocalists offered an audition will be asked to prepare: Excerpt from Musical Theatre or pop (upbeat). Excerpt from Classical, Musical Theatre or pop (ballad) - show your vocal range. Prepare SILENT NIGHT (will be emailed) - your voice type part. Sopranos may be asked to prepare and sing A capella "Once in Royal David's City" Role includes readings and storytelling *Singers may also be asked to learn some basic movement during audition. DANCE AUDITIONS - FRIDAY JULY 3RD (4-6pm) Please come prepared to learn several different styles of dance choreography during the audition - bring appropriate shoes.
