About the project: "Fiddler On The Roof" is one of the world’s most iconic stage musicals. It combines laughter and sadness with a gorgeous score full of memorable songs and characters. Set in the Jewish enclave of Anatevka, it tells a heartwarming tale of changing times. Additional info: Actors should expect approximately 6 weeks of rehearsals. A full rehearsal schedule is typically available after auditions. Auditioners for each show are expected to attend only one audition session unless specifically informed about callbacks. In most cases, no advance preparation is necessary, and you only need to attend one of the two audition days. When you arrive for the audition, please be prepared with: Enough personal info to fill in the 1-page audition form with a few recent credits (you can easily do this when you arrive.) Clothes you can move in and closed-toed shoes. An open and willing attitude to try what we ask you Those interested in leading and featured roles should also prepare: 32 bars of a song in the Broadway style Sheet music for your song to give to the accompanist we provide (no a-capella or recorded accompaniment auditions, please.)
