ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Auditions for "A Christmas Story" dinner theatre show, seeking Equity actors. See more details below. Rate: $810 weekly minimum Additional info: 1st Rehearsal: October 12, 2026 Runs October 29 - December 20, 2026 There are no Equity stage manager positions available. EPA Procedures are in effect for this audition. Please prepare a short cut of a Broadway song in the style of the show, preferably an up-tempo or comedic song. You may sing from the show. Those actors coming in for Jean Shepherd should prepare a short story-telling monologue and a short song in the style of the show. Singing from the show is fine. An Equity Monitor will be provided. Equity’s contracts prohibit discrimination. Mezzo-soprano Low G to high Db. Good comic ability. She is more in charge than she would ever let anyone know. Warm but strong-willed, straightforward, no nonsense, likable, midwestern – a kind of every-mom.

Alto belter. She is Ralphie’s elementary school teacher. Great with comedy. Flexible voice who is comfortable singing both legit and contemporary Broadway. Great mover and strong tapper.

The Santa Claus at Higbee's Department Store is ill-tempered, slightly inebriated and very unhappy with his job.
