Equity actors wanted for roles in Playhouse's 2027 Season show "Life of Pi". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please refer to the information below. Rate: Bay Area Theatre $906 weekly minimum (Tier 5) - Mainstage $651 weekly minimum (Tier 3) - Second Theatre - (PERFECT DAUGHTER) Additional info: PREPARATION: For all PLAYS: Please prepare 1 contemporary monologue. You may bring a second monologue if you do not wish to be considered for a musical. For all MUSICALS: Please prepare up to 60 seconds of a song in the style of the show. Selections from the shows themselves are strongly encouraged. You may bring a second song if you do not wish to be considered for a play. A monologue is not required. An accompanist will be available. Please bring sheet music clearly marked, in the correct key. Slots will be 3-minutes. Playhouse Mainstage productions rehearse 6-days per week, typically Tuesday-Sunday. Rehearsal times varies, but are often in the 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM range on weekdays and 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM on weekends. Mainstage productions are 8 shows per week, Tuesday- Sunday, with matinee performances on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Second Theatre productions rehearse 5-days per week and perform 6 shows per week. An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer willrun all aspects of this audition.
