About the project: When a wealthy student is expelled from his upscale private school, he is sent to live with his Aunt in a small town where nothing is quite as it seems. Rate: Non union. This is a volunteer student project. No monetary compensation will be provided. However, meals and refreshments will be included during filming. Additional information: Shoot/Performance Date(s) June 15–19, 2026 (with a possible extension beyond June 20 if required). Shoot/Performance Location(s) West Vancouver, including the Greater Downtown area and a residential home setting. Submission Deadline May 2, 2026. A high school cheerleader, large group of friends, but recently on edge and socially isolated due to her brother's disappearance. She is largely distant from most of the other characters, and would play a larger role in episode 2 or 3 if they were to be planned.
John is a typical high school/university student who plays american football, strong, fearless, tough, etc. He is Olivia’s brother and goes missing early on in the pilot.
Head teacher of a private school, a stern character, quick to business and very formal.
Comes from a wealthy family, highly concerned about his public image. Chris' (lead character) father. Tired of Chris' antics but used to get into similar trouble to Chris.
Additional Character. An entitled teen from a wealthy family who has just been expelled for a series of pranks and offenses at his elite private school. Though he seems determined to treat everything as a joke, Chris is still grieving the death of his older brother. He constantly fails to live up to his parents’ high expectations of him as they compare Chris to his late brother.
Additional character. Creative with a strong theatre kid energy. Often detached from their surroundings, using music and imagination as an escape. Likes art, and often makes witty comebacks to people, and stands up to bullies as they have been bullied in the past. They are sensitive around topics to do with parenting, as they have a rocky relationship with their parents.
Additional Character. Comes from a less affluent background. Speaks in a very colloquial manner. He fits a typical “bully” role, he struggles in school, his brother died in a motorcycle accident several years back, and his parents blame it on him.
Additional Character. Outcast from her family due to being a troublemaker in her teenage years, she has since turned this around and became a high school music teacher, very kind and caring towards any that she teaches, but she is stern at times. She and Chris aren’t very familiar at first, because of the isolation she felt from the rest of her family, but she tries to lighten the mood with humour.
Additional Character. Typical nerdy, quiet kid who wears glasses. Creative, and is often the target of bullying.
