About the project: "You Only Have To Rest In Inaction, and Things Will Transform Themselves" A One-Act Play. In this experimental one-act, two Chinese American philosophy students and a German religious scholar are brought to China on a sponsored trip to study Daoism, but they quickly find themselves in the midst of a political and cultural battle. As one of the undergrads gets interrogated by a mysterious government official, we learn more about the event that split them apart and the conflicting perspectives that pit them all against each other.
