“Big Fish” Musical Needs Actors

Audition notice for Main Stage production of “Big Fish”. Looking for cast. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the details below. About the project: Big Fish is a fantastical, heartwarming musical that follows the life of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman whose larger-than-life stories captivate everyone around him—especially his loving wife, Sandra. But their son, Will, about to become a father himself, is determined to uncover the truth behind his father’s epic tales. As Will embarks on a journey to understand the man behind the myth. Additional info: AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: - You must be available for all performances. No conflicts accepted for performance dates or the tech/dress week of opening. No exceptions. - All roles are open to audition. - All auditionees must bring sheet music with them and be prepared to sing 16 bars, but no more of a fully memorized musical selection that showcases your vocal range (Please no songs from the show). An accompanist will be provided. A cappella singing, instrumentals on CD, Tape, iPod, MP3 Player or digital recorder will not be allowed. - Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing as you will be required to learn a dance combo during the audition. If you are called back, you will be asked to read from the script and sing selections from the show. Callbacks: April 30. Performance dates: July 10, 11, 12 & 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 & 26 2026.
