Seeking Performers for "Gnomon’s Land" Play

About the show: "Gnomon’s Land" is an absurdist physical theatre/clown show. The show follows four clowns representing the 15 minute increments on the clock as they search for meaning, morality, and place in a world dictated by time. Rate: Following the festival, the entire team will be compensated using a profit share model. Additional information: The rehearsal schedule will be created after casting based on the availability of the team. There will be one week of workshopping (2-4 rehearsals) in May, and then rehearsals will officially begin in June, with there being 2-3 rehearsals weekly until the Edmonton Fringe Festival in August. The festival will run from August 13-23, with 8 shows throughout its duration. Auditions will occur in pairs, with a reading from a side and a potential for redirects. If no one else signs up in your timeslot we will provide someone to read with you. It is recommended to wear clothes you are comfortable moving in and be in a space where you can do so, as redirects may be physical or movement based. It is not necessary to prepare anything else for the audition. Following this, participants may be asked to attend a callback. If you're interested, please apply.

She is steadfast, caring, and is stuck in the middle. She cannot go forward or back, she is stuck. She doesn’t fear time, she hates it. She craves change and is frustrated by time’s monotony.
He is timid and alert. He is petrified of time, it goes far too fast and he just wants it to pause and give him time to catch up.
