Thirty years later, the two men find themselves placed in the same VA hospital room. Frank is recovering from pneumonia, and Ben is quietly losing a battle with terminal cancer. What begins as irritation over a faint mechanical noise in the room slowly forces the past into the open. As old resentment, guilt, and buried grief rise to the surface, both men are confronted with the truth they have spent decades avoiding: the fighting may have ended, but the war inside them never did.
