About the project: Years after her mother’s disappearance, Jamie and her friends return to the lake where the woman claimed to see a terrifying creature. Soon after arriving, the keys to their car goes missing, leaving the group to solve the mysteries surrounding the lake Additional info: Filming this summer in and around Albany, Oregon. Filming will start slowly at the end of May and pick up quickly the second week of June. When applying, please include a headshot or photo of yourself, location, and resume (if you have one). Beautiful yet cunningly smart, Ginny starts out the film as the newest member of the group, shoehorned in by her new boyfriend Caden. No one wants her there and she sticks out like a sore thumb. Underneath the surface, we find out how much she cares about the others there, but no one wants to give her a chance except for Caden, who she’s not even sure really loves her.
A small and unconfrontational boy who has a passion for photography. Oliver is Jamie’s childhood best friend and the two’s family used to go up to the lake all the time when they were kids. After Jamie became friends with Kayla and Caden, Oliver developed feelings for Caden, feelings he could never tell if they were returned. Caden spends half of his time with Oliver, but a few days before graduation, starts dating Ginny, crushing Oliver’s dreams.
