Casting Call for General Theater Auditions
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking performers for upcoming six projects. Please, see the details below. Rate: The 2026 General Auditions are open to both non-union and union performers. Union engagements will be contracted under the Artist Collective Policy (ACP). Additional information: All six projects will be in Toronto or Vaughan. 7-10PM (Toronto) or 10AM-1PM (Vaughan). Please also confirm which audition slot(s) you are available for, and that the projected performance dates’ period and location work for you, or at least relatively work for you (i.e no major conflicts in November). Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with limited audition spots available, so early submissions are highly encouraged. Please, see the attachment. Whenn applying, please submit your resume, head shot and demo reel (if applicable) by April 11th, with the following subject line: "Project #number - [Your Name] - [Character(s) You Are Auditioning For]".

PROJECT #1. Trinidadian/Caribbean/Black, male presenting. Quiet, comedic, and an attentive listener. Knows how to soothe intense emotions through words. Knows how to weave together his own compelling stories.
PROJECT #2. An 18 year old third generation Pakistani Canadian girl.
PROJECT #2. A 45 year old second generation Pakistani Canadian woman. ESHAAL’s mom.
PROJECT #2. A 67 year old first generation Pakistani Canadian man. May speak with a slight accent. ESHAAL’s stepgrandad, MOM’s father-in-law. Soft-spoken.
PROJECT #2. A 49 year old second generation Pakistani Canadian man. GRAMPS’ son, MOM’s husband, and ESHAAL’s stepdad.
