Casting Call for "Make Believe" Play

About the project: The four Conlee kids have arrived home from grade school, hungry and tired, but their parents are nowhere to be found and the downstairs phone keeps ringing. Thirty years later, the four siblings return to grapple with the childhood ghosts that still haunt their lives. From the writer of Camp Siegfried comes a mystery about the lingering impact of childhood trauma. Rate: $400/week (non-equity). Additional info: Auditions: Sunday, May 3, 10am–4pm and Monday, May 4, 1pm–7pm. Please prepare two contrasting monologues. Young actors auditioning should prepare 1 monologue (poems are usually best). Young actors may not be older than 13. If unable to attend in-person auditions, a 5-minute taped audition may be submitted. Each person will have a total of 5 minutes, including introductions. Rehearsals: August 16–31, 2026.
