About the project: BENJAMIN (30) is a lonely man trying to regain his sense of self-worth and confidence by visiting escorts. During these visits, he adopts a performative, hyper-masculine persona – adapted from online influencers – to convey the success and high status he hopes will transfer into his personal life. Following Benjamin as he visits HEATHER (30), an experienced escort who sees right through the performative facade and tries to un-mask it, but Benjamin resists. After a detached sexual encounter that leaves both of them cold, the story takes a dramatic turn. As he sits alone in Heather's room, Benjamin discovers a spy camera hidden in her bookshelf. Everything has been recorded. Faced with the shocking possibility of exposure or blackmail, Benjamin seeks answers. But just as he's about to confront Heather, her LANDLORD (40), a distant, taciturn man, enters the fray. In a dark twist, Benjamin learns the truth - the Landlord is the one behind the camera, and Heather has no idea. When she's out of the room, the Landlord gives Benjamin an ultimatum: Walk away and say nothing… or tell the truth and be exposed.
