About the project: LOGLINE: When his daughter Chloe goes missing during a camping trip in the woods, Jim returns home with little motivation to find her. His other daughter Amy, can’t understand why he has little faith in her return. But when a familiar looking figure emerges from the forest behind their backyard, Amy believes that her family can be whole once again. Rate: Non union. Unpaid. A grieving mother caught between hope and reality that her daughter may never be found. She is compassionate, supporting Amy in her hope that Chloe will be found. She also questions her husband's strange demeanour since returning from the camping trip. She demands to know what happened to her daughter out in the wilderness when Jim should’ve been protecting her. .
(1 day of shooting) A local police officer and family acquaintance. Peirce doesn’t understand Jim’s lack of motivation to find his daughter, and pushes Jim to act. He cares for this family and wishes to support them in any way he can.
