A Thai-Chinese-American pretty boy with Magic Mike muscles. Jal is a vain meathead with an affinity for Air Jordans and Labubus . He enjoys lifting his 6-year-old neice/nephew, Tai, like a weight. Looking for an actor to play him with humor and heart. Involves a short, shirtless, cowboy strip-dance scene. The role is open to multiple ethnicities. LEAD.
A greening, blue-liped, sharp-tongued, relentless version of human Lukee who will no longer take sh*t from life. Speaks and commands as if fire is coming out of her mouth. A crowning comedian. Must be comfortable with prosthetics and SFX. Looking for an Asian-American identifying female or Asian-American non-binary actor to play. LEAD.
A Thai immigrant chef who adopted Jal and his sister Anna when their mother died young. She runs her own restaurant and is always wearing an apron in the kitchen or carrying a hot pot of water. Kind and patient. Restaurant work/ acting experience is ideal but not necessary. Must speak fluent Thai. All lines are in Thai except one. SUPPORTING.
