Soraya Bahar: $100 stipend + meals. Additional information: East Vancouver, BC. 1–2 shoot days (week of April 20) + 1 rehearsal. LEAD. A confident, gregarious, and happily married politician, who aspires to be party leader. He receives unsettling news that may damage his reputation. Substantial role across full shoot.
SUPPORTING. A veteran CBC journalist and Abigail Mattice’s (Steve’s wife’s) best friend and confidante. Her life is turned upside down by a revelation from her distant past. Smaller, dialogue-heavy role (approx. one scene/shorter shoot time).
