About the project: Feeling estranged from his family name and roots, a young Chinese Canadian man confronts his self-doubts about his own identity when a spirited young woman shows him the ropes of mahjong. Rate: Non union. Paid. Additional information: Filming is planned for the weekend of May 29th-31st. Location: Edmonton. Deadline April 8th. When applying, please submit your name, portfolio/reel, and head shots/recent photo. Selected applicants will be sent audition sides where a self-tape will be requested. Final casting decisions will be made after callbacks.
