About the project: Set in 1935, a young woman dealing with the trauma of her Kidnapping sits writing a letter to the governor asking to appeal her captor's execution. Her father sees the letter and questions her emotions and forgiveness towards the incident. He instructs her not to mail it, yet struggles to understand how this may be his daughter's only way of healing the wound.
