About the project: Taking a leap of faith, Nyomi asks Simi, her crush, out on a date. Attempting to move on from a recent break-up, Simi accepts impulsively. The date is cut short just as Nyomi begins to get to know Simi, leaving Nyomi confused and forcing Simi to face unresolved feelings from their past. Rate: Non-paid. Additional info: 10-15 minute Black, queer romantic short film. DMV area with primary location being D.C. Day/night shoot. Late May/early June. Non-union.
