Seeking Performers for 2026 Fringe Shows
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Directors are looking for perfomers for their two 2026 Fringe shows. See the details below. About the plays: "PORK & BEANS": Attorneys At Law From the twisted minds who brought you “Soup & Hogan’s 16th Annual Hotdog Eating Contest” and “Sam’s Clam & Oyster Bar”, Sam Daly and Ethan Lang are back and better than ever with their newest, most rollicking musical yet: PORK & BEANS: Attorneys at Law! In the gritty, grimy, and undeniably groovy land of 1970s Chicago stand the two most legendary lawyers that have graced this sweet planet we call Earth. Augustus Pork and Lucius Beans, inseparable Harvard chums, have lawyered their way to the top, only to face off in the “Trial of the Century” as bitter rivals. Plug your nose and cannonball into the story of the highs and heartbreaks of their unbreakable bond turned brutal feud, accompanied by an ensemble of weird, wonky, and utterly wacky degenerates. Will their shattered friendship ever be mended, or will their deepest flaws tear them apart forever? Rodger & Hammerstein’s ROBOCOP Cousins in Law Productions seeks stupidity at every turn. Past Fringe productions include sold out runs of Silence of the Lambs, Jr!, a TYA- parody of everyone’s favourite psychological thriller, and SPEED: A 1940’s Radio Drama, hosted by Orson Welles and starring Keanu Reeves- a visual feast for the ears! SYNOPSIS: Rodgers and Hammerstein’s ROBOCOP: The Musical. With a sweeping score by Rodgers and Hammerstein, dream ballets, killer robots, cocaine, the dehumanizing nature of capitalism and the inherent danger of letting massive corporations privatize public services- this is the hit 80’s movie like you’ve never seen before. And did we mention there are nuns with guns? Rodger and Hammerstein’s ROBOCOP: Part Man. Part Machine. All Musical. Additional information: WHERE: Location will be confirmed in followup email. PERFORMANCE DATES: August 14-24, 2024. Auditions will be 10 minute slots with the exact times sent in a follow up email. AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: Please prepare a 1-2 minute cut of a golden age musical theatre piece (a pianist will be provided, Rodgers & Hammerstein material highly encouraged).
