Thoughtful, caring, wants to smile more than his environment lets him. Gray as the cold New England winter. The type of guy who thought his childhood questions about adulthood would be answered as he got older, but instead, he ended up coasting through a job he hates with no clear answer to why he is where he is. He can hang with the guys. He can be a bro. He’s never questioned his sexuality, but now that he’s been given an opportunity to feel it out, he’s more lost than ever.
Loving and smiling, more child in him. Isn’t straight, isn’t gay. He just knows connection when he feels it. By no means loves his office job, but is able to get along. Undoubtedly bro-coded, but is conscious that he acts this way to try and assimilate to his environment. He doesn’t quite fit in, but isn’t quite an outcast. Knows he lives in this liminal social space, where he wears a special kind of loneliness. He’s touch-starved; a long-overdue hug could help him find his way.
Testosterone junky, loves ripping people off. Feels smart when he says he hates misogynists, but also expects his wife to do the laundry and clean the dishes. Hates golf because it’s too slow. Loves baseball, though. Dale and Jimmy’s boss. He rose through the ranks by stepping on other people and being the loudest guy in the room. After all, that’s what it means to follow your passion and make the most money.
