Seeking Cast for "Amelia, Once More" Short Film
Auditions for the upcoming Short Film "Amelia, Once More", please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Rate: A stipend will be paid out to all actors involved in the film. Non-Union Additional info: For auditions, please prepare a 1-minute monologue of your choice. Preferably a comedic or dramatic monologue that can show your talent range. Please note, improvisation skills are definitely important for the production. You will also be acting out parts from the short film with other actors for the audition process. If cast, there will be rehearsal schedule meeting to discuss availability as well as the show schedule. Filming will begin in July 2026 for a 3-6 week timeframe. Please apply if interested.

Very loyal to the role, but feels haunted by the role of Amelia. Two completely different personalities makes her look in the mirror and realize that this isn’t want she wants anymore
The handsome, loyal and caring leading actor who plays opposite of Ava in the production. The love interest of Ava, tries to help her through her thoughts and feelings right before curtains opening for yet another performance night
The uptight, money hungry director of the production at the Starr Theatre in Pioneer Square. All he cares about is sold out tickets and happy audience members. Feels like Ava is being too dramatic as always
The sassy, evil and obnoxious understudy to Ava’s leading role, waits impatiently for her moment to shine on that stage. She pushes everyone to think that Ava is seeking attention
The stage manager, very good at her job as well, works hand in hand with Mr. Santos to help Ava realize she is nothing like Amelia
