Husband to Robin. A loving husband and father who wants to make his wife happy despite his complaints. A former car salesman who recently came into wealth and feels he has an appropriately-sized chip on his shoulder about it. Confident, brash, unconventional and proud to be so. Strongly comedic.
Wife to Paul. New to both her town and her wealthy lifestyle, she doesn’t quite feel like she “fits in” with the others in her community. Down to earth and open-hearted, Robin isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty and can hold her own against bigger personalities. Strongly comedic.
Wife to Bernard. Amy is sophisticated and intelligent, which gives her the appearance of fitting in well, but she is privately judgemental and deeply insecure. She grew up poor and works hard to give her daughter a better life than she had. Strongly comedic.
Husband to Amy. A college professor and Awardwinning novelist. High-strung, erudite, and quick to defend himself (and his daughter) against any perceived criticism. Strongly comedic.
