Sanctuary: Chicago Vampire Tales (The Vampire Ball)
Chicago Vampire Tales is a stylized independent horror short filming in Chicago. Production is currently planned for April 17–19, with alternate windows May 1–3 or May 15–17 as casting and locations are finalized. The story explores a secret vampire society operating beneath Chicago’s nightlife and historic spaces, blending gothic elegance with modern urban tension. Scenes will take place in atmospheric settings such as a funeral home, cemetery park, studio locations, and select nightlife environments. The project features dramatic vampire encounters, ritual moments, character confrontations, and cinematic horror visuals designed for a dark, immersive tone. The goal is to create a visually striking horror short with potential expansion into an episodic vampire series. Cast roles include members of a vampire society, protagonists such as a priest and vampire slayers, and ensemble roles portraying mourners and nightlife vampires. Filming dates remain flexible as casting is finalized.
