About the project: The Meez is a dark comedy about a man whose internal personalities physically appear in the room and argue over every decision he makes. When a late-night text from a coworker named Amy arrives, it triggers a psychological battle between the voices in his head — Brutal Me, the voice of impulse, and Charisma Me, the voice of confidence. What begins as a simple text message quickly spirals into a series of unexpected twists, emotional turns, and escalating chaos as Christian struggles to keep control of his own life. The series is designed as a cinematic micro-episode format, created to produce strong character moments and high-quality reel material for actors. Rate: Non-Union Passion project (currently unpaid) will cover gas and food. Amy is confident, intelligent, and socially grounded. She works with Christian but has never shown obvious interest in him until she unexpectedly texts him late one night. While the character Amy is envisioned as a Black woman, we are open to all auditions and encourage actors of all backgrounds to submit. Strong natural presence and subtle comedic timing are a plus.
