Indigenous the trio's teacher. Hard-working, independent shoshone woman. Fiercely protective over nate, she struggles to maintain his innocence while making tough choices. She's conflicted over staying with her people or moving.
Indigenous Nate's father, Carrie's boyfriend. Shoshone construction worker. He spends his nights partying, fighting, run ins with the law. A bit immature but he is young after all despite this, he tries to be a good father to Nate, he teaches him life lessons and their culture through hoops, being the role model he never had as a kid.
Indigenous Carrie's best friend. Always in a good mood. A one of a kind shit-talker. Very protective over family. Used to scrap alongside Carrie and their cousin sat rez parties - and is still laughing about it to this day. Cooks a mean frybread.
