Casting actors for short film, “Finding Happiness” (Non Union), please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: After experiencing a tragic loss in the family, Emily Wilson transfers to a new school to finish out her education. Little does she know what awaits her are two amazing best friends, mean girls, and love. Rate: Only the lead and supporting roles will be paid. In addition, all actors will receive IMDB credit, food on set, and footage. Additional info: Filming will take place late May/early June 2026. Please do not submit if you are not available for the following dates: Tuesday, May 26th – Monday, June 1st (Allentown, PA) Sunday, June 7th (Philadelphia, PA) Wednesday, June 10th (Lahaska, PA & Hatfield, PA) Not all characters will be needed for all 10 filming days. More specifics will be discussed further along in the casting process. Except for the professor role, all actors must be able to portray Juniors and Seniors in college. (Supporting) – Veronika is one of the populars. College senior, popular, stylish. Although she’s one of Shannon’s followers, she’s still independent and has her own sense of self.
(Day Player) –The Professor will be in 1-2 scenes. He’s very wise looking, well dressed. Enjoys his job but has little tolerance for the populars, especially James.
(Featured Extras) Looking for two males, any race, to portray James’ teammates who hang out in the popular group. No lines, but some opportunities for improv.
