Ethel, ten years younger, delights in the small joys of life and is a devoted partner. Their divorced daughter and her fiancé visit, leaving their teenage son behind, who quickly becomes the “grandchild” the couple has longed for. The play explores love, family dynamics, and the passage of time with humor and poignancy.
