The company is holding auditions for "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" show and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Additional info: Rehearsals begin April 12th and will be held at Carolina Friends School (CFS) in Durham. Rehearsals will be held on Sundays from 2:00 - 5:30PM, and Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 - 9:30PM. Show performs on June 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14 Audition Format: Initial auditions are being accepted online. Please film yourself singing a 15 - 30 bar cut (about 30 seconds to one minute) from a musical and submit it with the completed form. If you have played a lead or supporting lead in a show directed by Melissa and Jo in the last 12 months, submitting a video is optional (we remember your voice), but you will still need to fill out the form. Actors will be asked to attend callbacks no later than Wed, Feb 25th.

An actress with a strong rock singing voice (high belt to E, full-range Mezzo) who is strong on comedy and moves well.
Tenor. The eleventh son of Jacob; his father’s favorite. Charismatic, honest to a fault, and a little naive as to the ways of the world.
Joseph’s father. An actor in his 50s/60s with a baritone voice.
Eleven wives for the brothers, strong singing voices, the ability to dance.
A Noel Coward-type character. Baritone.
Alto/Mezzo. Worldly and very fashionable.
Good actor/singer with Tenor/Baritone range. Elvis Presley impersonator type who moves well.
Comedic character roles with solos, to be pulled from the actors playing brothers and wives.
