About the project: Mrs. Ethel Savage, a wealthy widow, has been committed to a sanitarium by her greedy stepchildren who are determined to get their hands on her late husband's fortune. But the residents of The Cloisters—each delightfully eccentric and emotionally sincere—may be saner than the self-serving family members outside. The Curious Savage is a warm, whimsical comedy about kindness, loyalty, and what truly matters in life. It celebrates those who color outside the lines and reminds us that dignity and humanity often flourish in the unlikeliest places. Additional info: All identities, experience levels, and abilities are welcome and encouraged to audition! Auditions will be cold readings from the script, and the show runs May 7–24, 2026. Production Dates: May 7 – 24, 2026 Rehearsal Schedule: Rehearsals will begin in March and run through opening. Rehearsals are typically held 3–4 evenings per week but not all actors will be called for every rehearsal. Sides can be found attached. If you are interested, please apply.
