Casting Singers for Community Choir

Choir actively seeking singers in all sections. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the details below. About the project: This is a 35-voice diverse, intergenerational community choir and sing original music in a wide range of styles. Their practice is grounded in weekly rehearsal, regular performances in a range of venues, and creative actions in public space. Rate: Some touring, some pay. This is primarily a volunteer choir. No dues. Additional info: This is a radical performance community, recipients of multiple awards (Obie, Edwin Booth, Alpert, and American Religion & The Arts) and have performed and toured all over the world. They rehearse on Sunday evenings from 4-7pm. Come to rehearsal and see if it’s a good fit, if you would like to sing for them you are welcome but they do not require a formal audition piece.
