About the project: On April 1, 1919, independent publisher John Pace Seavering is facing a dilemma. With only enough money to publish one book, he is torn between his college friend Denis McCleary, and his mistress, Jessie Brewster, who both have a book they want him to publish. Denis needs his book published in order to marry the heiress Rosamund Plinth, and Jessie wants her memoirs published to cement her place in history.
