Main cast. Charlie's mother. Kind-hearted but rigid, with a strong sense of authority and order.
Man cast. Warm and observant, he sees more than he says and often lets moments play out instead of controlling them. He serves as Charlie's moral compass throughout the film.
Man cast. A hardworking Iranian immigrant father doing whatever work he can to survive. Farsi-speaking required.
EXTRAS. One brief scene in a toy store.
EXTRAS. SON (8-13) - Seen briefly in a toy store. Preference for real-life relatives, but not required.
