About the project: 15-year-old Christopher has an extraordinary brain: He is exceptional at mathematics but ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. He has never ventured alone beyond the end of his street. Christopher finds Wellington, the neighbor’s dog, dead, speared with a garden fork. He is himself under suspicion, so he is determined to solve the mystery of who murdered Wellington, but his detective work takes him on a thrilling journey that upturns his world. Rate: This is a volunteer community theatre production. Non-Equity. There is no pay. Additional info: Callbacks: (By invitation only) Wednesday, January 21 7pm – 10pm. AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: Bring headshot and resume. British accent required. Sides for cold readings will be provided at the auditions. RUN: March 13 – April 5, 2026 Friday and Saturdays at 7:30pm, and Sunday at 2pm. Double performances on one Saturday.

She is Christopher's teacher and also serves as the play’s narrator. She helps Christopher understand the aspects of the world that are so difficult for him, such as human facial expressions, how to cope with over-stimulation, and how to execute certain mundane tasks. This actor plays primarily Christopher 's father who has been raising and caring for Christopher by himself for the last couple of years, since his wife left him. He knows all of Christopher's habits, understands his condition, and recognizes what he needs. Ed owns his own heating maintenance and boiler repair business. RACE / ETHNICITY OPEN
This actress plays primarily Christopher's mother. Judy claims to have a great deal of difficulty with Christopher's condition and describes herself as "not as patient as your dad", although it is clear she loves her son dearly. She feels she has failed Christopher in some way. She left both Ed and Christopher 2 years ago.
