About the project: The Play That Goes Wrong is a fast-paced physical comedy that requires strong ensemble work and a high level of physical commitment. All roles are physically demanding and may involve working on elevated platforms, lifting heavy objects, or being enclosed in tight spaces. Actors are strongly encouraged to review character descriptions in advance. Additional info: Auditions will consist of readings from the script Scripts may be checked out starting January 12 during box office hours (Mondays 4:00–6:00 PM, Saturdays 9:00 AM–12:00 PM) Online registration is required prior to auditions If you are unavailable for any required dates, you will not be considered Rehearsals: Tentatively Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 7:00 PM beginning February 3 (schedule subject to adjustment for major conflicts) Tech Week: April 11–16 Performances: Friday, April 17 | 7:30 PM Saturday, April 18 | 2:00 PM Sunday, April 19 | 2:00 PM Friday, April 24 | 7:30 PM Saturday, April 25 | 2:00 PM Sunday, April 26 | 2:00 PM Strike: April 26, immediately following the closing performance If interested, submit your application.

Plays Inspector Carter The head of the theatre company and Director of the play, this is the biggest day of his life, it is a nerve wracking and exciting night. He tries his best to keep the show on track while gritting his teeth at the ineptness which surrounds him. plays Thomas Colleymoore He wants to be Richard Burton (formidable and a bit pompous) but remains cheerfully clueless on stage. This ever-optimistic 'best friend' character is embroiled in a leadership rivalry with Chris, yet blissfully unaware of the chaos around him. plays Cecil Haversham & Arthur the Gardener He has never been on stage before; has learned his lines and does exactly what he's told to do, unfortunately he has zero connection with any of the other actors. But when he gets a laugh, he breaks the 4th wall and engages with the audience; his mistakes are fundamental and filled with unintentional humor.
