Martha's brother. A whimsical, mystical, nature lover who understands the natural world. Gentle and optimistic, he helps Mary learn about gardens and secretly points her in the right direction to find her aunt Lily's garden.

The house's gardener. He is gruff but good-hearted underneath his rough exterior. Above all else, he is deeply devoted to the Craven family.
