He already has one foot out the door of this life. Worn by the weather and bad choices, he is a mystery to both himself and to others. A bad man who has long tried hopelessly to be good. Living a transient life, he constantly moves from one territory to the next, circumstance constantly dissuading him from staying in one place too long.
The brother of the recently deceased. A man who uses his calloused hands to earn honest money, though he doesn't mind letting loose with a game of cards or a full bottle from time to time. Unable to prevent his brother's demise, he struggles to rationalize his morals and the brutality that plagues the world around him
