Casting Talent for "BAAL" Play in MD

Now casting seven non-binary and gender-nonconforming actors for BAAL, a new sci-fi stage production. ONLY DC, VA & LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: BAAL is a sci-fi fable set in the city of Baal, where a mysterious “slime shower” has been liquefying bodies for over a year. As birth rates rise, so do deaths, and the government announces that pregnancy itself may be triggering the disaster. K, a doctor who fiercely believes in unborn life, clashes with M, the pragmatic governor who insists that controlled sacrifice is the only way to save the city. BAAL navigates reproductive control, climate catastrophe, and bio-politics as literal life and death stakes. Rate: $200 stipend. Additional info: March 6, 2026, 7:30 PM (1 performance).
