Actors Needed for Movie Casting
Seeking actors for a short psychological sports thriller. Review the details listed below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: A D1 basketball player discovers that entering “the zone” traps her in a void, where a mysterious presence forces her to perform to survive. Rate: The roles are unpaid, and more so here for the opportunity to grow in your art form. Additional info: Shooting December 19th (1-day shoot). Athletic. Must be comfortable with basketball movement (dribbling, cutting, shooting). A driven college basketball player under immense pressure. Competitive, intense, vulnerable beneath the surface.
Athletic. Basketball experience strongly encouraged. Mandy’s teammate and on-court rival. Confident, physical, sharp-tongued but not cruel. Strong presence.
A seasoned, caring coach. Warm, grounded, authoritative. Serves as Mandy’s emotional anchor.
Tall (5’10”+ preferred). Lean or imposing frame. A silent, physical presence. No dialogue. Must be comfortable with movement.
