Old Brownstone Apartment. Jeffery Hatcher's two act adaption of Frederic Knott's original three act, is a fast paced, on the edge of your seat thriller, Susy Hendrix, a courageous, recently blinded housewife, unwittingly possesses a doll filled with smuggled diamonds. Harry Roat, a brutal psychotic criminal coerces two small-time thugs Carlino, a crooked cop and Mike, who poses as an old military buddy of Susy's husband, into helping him con Susy into giving up the doll. A battle of wits ensues as Susy and the young girl come up with a counter plan against the thieves. As the palm sweating drama plays out, Susy courageous turns her vulnerability of being blind into her strength to gain the upper hand. Additional info: Callbacks (By Invitation Only): Sunday, January 4th from 1PM to 5PM Rehearsals: Rehearsals start January 12th, 2026 Performance Dates (MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL PERFORMANCE DATES): Starting March 20th, 2026, running Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays through April 20th, 2026 The Audition: Please bring a resume and headshot if you have one. (Not required.) Auditions will consist of cold reading from the script. Actors of all ethnicities, and backgrounds are encouraged to audition.
