About the project: Synopsis: An enduring friendship of two middle class families goes wrong when their sons compete against each other for one coveted basketball position to the golden doors of the NBA. A tense 48 hour cycle of the Kingwood Classic will leave lives in mayhem or magnificence. Rate: Contract: The Producers plan on applying for an AEA Showcase. $600 stipend. Fighting ferociously to give her son "THE BEST" place in life.

African American, 30's, playful, a hard on sport-acholic, former semi-kinda-professional basketball player. James wants to break out of the middle-class prison strait jacket that suffocates him. As he fights for his son to keep the basketball family legacy alive despite the crooked unfairness of this one moment in time basketball game.
