Actors Wanted for 2026 Winter/Spring Season

Theatre is seeking experienced energetic actors for 2026 winter/spring season. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See more info below. About the project: This is a fun, interactive, professional non-equity touring theatre company, performing 40-minute scripted plays of the classic fairytales for school organizations in Southeastern Michigan. Seeking energetic experienced actors, over the age of 18, for 2026 Winter/Spring productions of The Frog Prince, Peter Rabbit and The Country Mouse and the City Mouse. Rate: All actors are paid per performance. Also, all actors are paid for rehearsals. Additional info: Auditions will be virtual, by appointment only. Preparation is not needed. Audition material will be provided. Actors need to live in Southeastern Michigan. Rehearsals will start 3 weeks prior to the start of each show. There will be at least 6 rehearsals and rehearsals are generally 2 hours. Specific days and times will be worked out with the cast of each show. Casting The Frog Prince is directors' priority. Rehearsals for The Frog Prince will begin the week of January 5th, and rehearsals will be held in Pinckney, MI. Shows Run Dates – The Frog Prince runs January 21, 2026 through February 27, 2026. Peter Rabbit runs March 4, 2026 through April 10, 2026. The Country Mouse and the City Mouse runs April 14, 2026 through May 22, 2026. Shows are performed Mondays through Fridays, in the mornings. Shows are performed at early elementary schools, preschools and summer camps in Southeastern Michigan, Washtenaw County, Livingston County, Wayne County and Oakland County.
