Eric, a fifty-year-old scarlet macaw is enjoying life, spending the days reading the paper that lines his cage and watching his favourite daytime soap opera. Then his owner Bill, brings home Salvadora, a young green amazon parrot. She is desperate to break out of her locked cage – something to do with Harriet ‘Hank’ Philly, a notorious gangster, and Stinky, her flunky, who are under the watchful eye of Detective Frances Watt. "DEBATE DEBACLE" show: A fast-paced comedy. The Prime Minister is getting ready for a televised election debate with Greta Wildback, the leader of the opposition. Unfortunately, he has taken too many pain killers for his bad back and is now uncharacteristically pleasant, and happy-go-lucky. He also believes that the Martians have invaded. Mackenzie, his Senior Advisor and Geneviève, his Chief of Staff, come up with a wild scheme to cancel the debate and get him out of the building. Additional information: Call Backs: Wednesday, December 10th, 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Please come with a short monologue prepared. The auditions will include cold reads from the scripts. REHEARSALS: Saturday afternoons, Tuesday evenings and Thursday evenings starting January. SHOW DATES: April 24th to May 2nd, 2026, with double show Saturdays, one Sunday Matinee.
