"Puffs" Show Casting Young Performers
Young actors needed for production of "Puffs". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See more info below. About the project: SYNOPSIS: For seven years a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs… who just happened to be there too. A tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world. Additional info: No preparation needed—auditions are cold readings and activities focused on character chemistry. All rehearsal conflicts should be provided at the audition. Rehearsals will be 6 to 8:30pm Mondays and Wednesdays starting December 15 (not Dec 24 or 31) through January. Additional rehearsal days will be added in late January and in February (3-4 each week) as get closer to the show opening. Tech week starts February 22 and is mandatory. Practice will be every night that week. The show dates are 2/27, 2/28, 3/1, 3/6, 3/7, and 3/8. If you are interested, please apply.

A nerdy orphan wizard boy from New Mexico.
A mathematician wizard from New Jersey.
Daughter of the infamous Xavia Jones who thinks she should be in the Snakes house.
The one with all the heavy books.
The lead Puff at the magic school.
An evil and dark lord who wants to take over the school and kill Harry.
A famous student in the Brave house who kills magical beasts and constantly steals opportunities from the Puffs.
A Puff who lives in fear of death, because her entire family died.
A flamboyant and happy Puff.
She goes to school here and is completely blind throughout half the show.
A very confident and self-obsessed Puff.
A shy Puff who gets made fun of by the other houses and does not realize what is happening.
A Puff who grew up as an only child, has never seen other children until now and wants to be friends with everybody.
They will also have a number of non-speaking and background roles available.
