The company is holding auditions for "Urinetown, the Musical" Show and looking for performers, please see the details below About the project: Urinetown is a darkly comedic satire that takes place in a dystopian future where a severe water shortage has led to a government ban on private toilets. Citizens must pay to use public amenities controlled by the corrupt Urine Good Company, led by the greedy Caldwell B. Cladwell. When the poor can no longer afford to “pay to pee,” a brave young idealist named Bobby Strong leads a rebellion to fight for their right to free relief. Baritone. A self-aware narrator who doubles as a corrupt policeman enforcing the laws of Urinetown. Charismatic, authoritative, and darkly comedic, he guides the audience through the story with tongue-in-cheek commentary.
Soprano. The tough, no-nonsense manager of Public Amenity #9. She’s hardened by years of struggle but ultimately reveals surprising depth and moral complexity.
Tenor. The dashing, rebellious everyman who works for Miss Pennywise at the poorest, filthiest town urinal. He becomes an unsuspecting protagonist and romantic hero when he starts a revolution and falls in love with Hope Cladwell.
Soprano. Caldwell’s naïve but optimistic daughter, eager to do good. She falls in love with Bobby and becomes torn between family loyalty and moral conviction.
Baritone/Bass. The powerful and corrupt CEO of Urine Good Company. Suave, manipulative, and larger-than-life, he hides his ruthlessness behind corporate charm.
Mezzo Soprano. A precocious and irreverent street urchin. She serves as a quasi-narrator who often questions Lockstock and the play's logic.
Tenor/Alto. A greedy politician in Cladwell's pocket. A bumbling coward.
Baritone/Bass. Lockstock's patrol partner. A thuggish and aggressive policeman.
Mezzo Soprano/Alto. Bobby's mother and Joseph's wife. A strong-willed woman with a bite, able to withstand the hard hand life has dealt her.
Bobby's rebellious father. His refusal to pay the fee sends him to Urinetown, ultimately launching the revolution.
Baritone. A passionate, rough-edged rebel who supports Bobby’s cause with zeal.
Soprano. One of the poor citizens in the town. Foul-mouthed, impulsive, accusatory.
Baritone. Cladwell's sycophantic lackey.
